Disrupt - Day 9
We are so frail in our humanity. Our prayer life experiences the regular limitations of weak faith.
In many ways our weak faith is really just human wiring. It’s common and it’s natural, but we are called to live in the supernatural and to walk by the Spirit who emboldens us and empowers us to have bold faith. Remember, our faith is not in ourselves and our capability, but in Almighty God! The power of your prayer is not in your Bible knowledge but your sincere faith.
The promise of the mustard seed faith is a treasured promise for all believers who know if they could stand in the heavenly throne room right now they would taste and see the goodness of the Lord and his supreme capability to handle every single one of our needs. But on this side of heaven, our faith can be weak and bound by our limitations…yet even in those God is glorified.
Prayer prompt – Lord, I am frail, and I don’t see the whole picture that you do. But with the best faith that I can muster right now I ask these things in the name of Jesus.
Nothing of eternal significance happens apart from prayer. -Jerry Falwell
