Disrupt - Day 5
March 5 - So that your prayers may not be hindered (1 Peter 3:7)
Is your sin hindering the effectiveness of your prayers? Peter warned the husbands to show their wives honor, or else they suffer the consequence of obstructed prayers.
In everyday life we want our obstructions removed. They hold us back, and they can hurt. Do you have the same resolve to be right with God as you do in other matters in life? The good news is that Jesus covers your sin by his blood on the cross. If you’re hindering your prayer life due to sinful addictions and unconfessed sin, bring yourself to the cross to be reconciled with the Heavenly Father and cleansed of your sin.
Prayer Prompt: Lord, search my heart. Is there any way in me that is hindering my prayer life? I confess it to you and choose to live purely and honorably so that my prayers align with a sanctified life.
