March 3 - Praying at all times in the Spirit. (Ephesians 6:18)
A lot of folks at Legacy carry a multitool. Multitools usually have a few commonly used components like the blade and pliers, and then a few rarely used items like the divot repair tool and spike wrench.
When it comes to the armor of God, every piece is essential equipment, including prayer. Prayer is not an add-on, and we should not treat it so. Paul urged his Ephesian readers to pray at ALL times. He challenged them to pray--not like the pagan religions of Ancient Greek culture making utterances before a marble statue--but to pray in the Holy Spirit’s leading and empowering.
Prayer Prompt: God, please retrain my habits to be a prayer warrior, praying at all times about all matters in my life--not only at meals or when I need provision, but also when I want to spend time with you or when I’m facing spiritual attack.
