Disrupt - Day 20

March 20 - How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth. (Psalm 119:103)

Consistent time with God often demands a rewiring of our cravings. Like a person on a diet who feels the immediate pull for sugar or salt, we typically crave busyness, pleasure, and attention. Further, we face incessant opportunities for distractions or temptations.

Spending time with God slowly transforms our affections. His presence, His peace, and His Word become more enjoyable than anything this world offers. Will you let Him change your appetite?

Prayer Prompt: Lord, my stomach growls when it’s hungry. Make my soul growl for you!

“Prayer is the pulse of the renewed soul.” -J.C. Ryle
