March 14 - Remain in me (John 15:4)
A vibrant prayer life hinges upon remaining connected to the source of Life. Like a branch that must remain connected to a vine, so we must remain connected to Christ through daily time with Him. He is our source of life, joy, peace, and hope. All other sources that appear to offer life, joy, peace, and hope are counterfeits; they may appear to satisfy the need, but they will eventually come up short. How important is it to remain connected with Christ? Well, a spiritual life that gets disconnected from Jesus becomes shriveled and sickly.
Prayer Prompt: Jesus, thank you for being my source of life. I commit to staying connected to you so that I can victoriously live out my faith today!
