Disrupt - Day 12
March 12 - They devoted themselves to…prayer. (Acts 2:42)
Only a handful of habits marked the first generation of Christians as prominently as prayer. They understood the secret sauce of the Kingdom, and the fruit of their labor was revealed — revival among their community and effective evangelism throughout the Empire!
Personally, I think a lot of the trouble and temptation we experience would be lessened if we gave ourselves to prayer. Most of the stress points and complaining lose their potency when we are filled with prayer.
Prayer Prompt: Lord, I want to be devoted to you in prayer. I reject the temptation to be half-hearted in this area of my life. Please point out what is holding me back from deeper devotion, and empower me to follow you fully.
