March 18 - Pray all kinds of prayers. (Ephesians 6:18)
When you eat a meal it’s important to have a healthy variety of food with protein, carbs, and fats. Like a plate of food, we also need a healthy variety of prayer in our life, from praises to petitions. One way to incorporate a healthy diet of prayer is to give intentional time to adoration, confession, thankfulness, and requests. Another way to grow strong in prayer is to pray in solitude and with others such as your spouse, kids, your Group, and the church.
If prayer feels boring, it’s possibly because you’ve been stuck in one type of prayer, by yourself, repeating the same words each time. It’s time to start practicing the full array of options available to you.
