Holy Saturday

Holy Saturday

April 4 - Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD. (Psalm 27:14)

Yesterday, Jesus died.

Tomorrow, He will rise.

But today there is silence. Grief. Confusion. Waiting.

The disciples didn’t know what tomorrow morning would bring.

It’s moments like these that TRUST is tested.

Do we persevere? Do we believe what God says?

God is not absent in the silence.

Just because you don’t see him does not mean he’s forgotten or he isn’t working.

I’m not sure what you’re waiting for…but I exhort you—Hang on. Don’t quit. Stay faithful.

Sunday is coming!

Prayer prompt: God, please strengthen me to wait faithfully with courage, hope, and joy. I believe you are still working even though my eyes cannot see it, and I choose to trust you more than my circumstances.

“Faith never knows where it is being led, but it loves and knows the One who is leading.” -Oswald Chambers
